Verberile Glenn Fonfodue is an artist at VAS (Verberile Art Studio); a studio he created in 2016 that creates a wide array of abstract black digital art.
He had this to say “I love living for the moment and sharing ideas and stories, for I believe everyone is an artist and in living their lives we all join and create the greatest artwork of all time; life. And that is God’s masterpiece”.
He also said “Good creative work should engage, teach and relate with some emotion in the onlooker’s mind”.
A day at his Studio, is a haven of creative work varying from drawing, printmaking, painting, and writing on reflections of things Africans in the diaspora see and experience daily.
Influenced by great artist such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Harmonia Rosales, Wole Soyinka, Ngozi Chimamanda, Emily Carr, Henry Ossawa Tanner, Ransome Stanley, Aboudia Abdoulaye Diarrasouba, Lionel Smit, Kenjo wan Jumbam and Koko Komegne.
