Gunzz was born Peter Akor in the early nineties in the city of Abuja. He started rapping  from age 10 with influences from DMX,NAS, Busta Rhymes and later Kanye West and Common.

Professionally, he dropped his first project, a Mixtape titled “The +234 Mixtape” in 2012. It had a couple spins in the Capital city and earned him fans as well. Between 2013-2016, he put put several singles and participated and won in several top online rap competitions. Most notably, he was in the Hennessy Cypher for 2015. By 2017, he put out his second project titled, an Ep titled “Once upon a god”. By 2020, he put out my first  album titled “Waiting for Something Good to Happen” and we here now
