Caro: Psycho Yp & Azanti 

In 2013, Wizkid(Starboy) and L.A.X set a standard for songs titled Caro and ever since, every song titled Caro has been trying to meet that threshold. Yes, “Caro” by Wzkid and L.A.X became the yardstick by which every other is measured. Psycho Yp and Azanti collaborated on a joint tape titled “ YP &Azanti, vol.1”, this tape oozed synergy and coherence in melody, lyrics and delivery.  A tape by undergrounds  that can stand aloft with any other in the Nigerian music industry in the past year. The tape is that good. One song in particular caught my attention and it is titled “Caro”. I have heard quite a number songs with that title but they don’t ignite the scintillating flurry of emotions like this one. The last song on the tape, a song worthy of attention and emulation, a song one will consciously put on repeat for love of the sound, melody and captivating lyrics.  Check out Caro by Psycho YP and Azanti.
