Adebanjo Adesunnola Toluwani (Tsuni); born April 13th 2000, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and performing artiste. Tsuni, who is the second of three children, was born and raised in Ikorodu, Lagos state where completed her primary and secondary education. She is currently in her final year at the prestigious University of Lagos where she studies Mass Communication.
While she was pursuing her secondary education, Tsuni nursed her talent by frequently visiting the studio with her friend ‘Peazy and his brother Semi Q who was her producer at the time. He produced her first single ‘Skentele.’ She released Skentele on souncloud in 2018 to commemorate her 18th birthday and also to test the waters. After getting several positive feedback from listeners, especially her immediate family members and friends, Tsuni released her second single ‘Control’ in November of 2018. The following year, she released her third single ‘Motivation’ which brought more attention to the singer. With three songs under her belt, Tsuni bagged her first major performance when she opened for American-Nigerian Singer WurlD, at his show ‘WurlD Live in Lagos’ at Hardrock café in December 2019. She went on to bag her second major performance when she opened or Tiwa Savage at her first headline concert in Lagos, ‘Everything Savage Lagos’ on the 23rd of December 2019.
On the 20th of March 2020, Tsuni released a collaborative EP with Nigerian Record Producer and Audio engineer and friend Beezyx. The EP titled Flexxx brought the singer-producer duo a significant amount of attention including a public co-sign from Nigerian superstar, Tiwa Savage. It also earned Tsuni a NativeMag feature and Earmilk added one of the tracks ‘Pade’ to the 53rd episode of their urban feature, ‘The Slice.’ In the same month Bella-vita also included Tsuni in their ‘artiste of the month’ feature. The EP has since garnered 20,000 streams across all platforms.
On June 26th 2020, Tsuni released her Fourth single titled ‘Anymore’. The track which is her first single of the year was produced by Beezyx and written by Tsuni and is Available on all Digital Streaming Platforms. Tsuni’s latest release is a 2-pack single titled ‘I’m a Piano’ which boasts two tracks titled DENY & MEMO ft Emk The Genie. It was released on the 19th of March 2021. The single was produced by Winzycool and mixed & Mastered by Beezyx. It is Available on all Digital streaming platforms.
