Olami born as Olupayimo Olamide Olapeju is an Afro-soul/Rnb singer, songwriter from Lagos, Nigeria. She is an undergraduate of Ladoke Akintola University of technology. She burst into the music scene with her exceptional voice which echoes a wave of new sound soothing to the ears. Raised by her father who also was a singer, at a young age she witnessed so many performances by her father which played a pivotal role in her development as a singer and songwriter. she infuses lyrical deftness in her sound which somewhat sets her apart, her first single “Run” was released to great acceptance by fans and critics alike. She previously dropped a freestyle titled blind children which talks about life as a lady and what they go through and how much people ignore them.
Her career took an upward trajectory with the release of her debut EP titled “Outside”, rising up to 4th on Apple Music Alternative Chart on the first week of release, featuring on editorial playlists and music review sites.
