A resident of Lagos with a family of four, with both parents pastors, he grew up in the church playing instruments such as drums, piano and guitar which he still plays to date.
He started music production in 2017 after his uncle who is also a producer gave him the Fruity Loop software, a journey which he described as wonderful. He always knew he would do music because of the joy, chills and thrills he gets whenever he hears or does music.
Backed by his family, a privilege Laima is grateful for and has propelled him in his career to forge ahead in creating timeless pieces.
To him, music is an art and expression of emotions, factors that are signet to his creative exhibition of talent, ingenuity and inventiveness. Drawing inspiration from God, other creatives and things around him, he hopes to create a legacy of timeless music.
His major influences are his favourite African producers like Sarz, Pheelz, Juls, Masterkraft and P.Priime. Listening to their songs produced and how it’s been done.
“There will be lots of songs and projects to be released the year. I have a joint EP with 3 artists and a bunch of singles too will be dropping.”

– My TAG Name LAIMA is an acronym of my birth name so each letter stands for a name
– I got the idea of LAIMA at the church
– I don’t look 22, so much younger.
