Born in Surulere Lagos , Nigerian singer, rapper songwriter and multi-creative Kobi Henry Bassey Ibok II “Kobi wolf” gravitated towards music first as a listener then began to write music at the age of 12. This deep seated love for music led to the evolution of his sound and development of full blown music artiste by his teens. Brought up by his mom, a soprano singer/ teacher and dad a record collector/ surveyor , Kobi was able to find his sound with their guidance, gaining the ability to express himself through the fusion of different genres of music.
With sounds mainly between afro-fusion , hip hop and rnb .
With two projects of different genre’s out already, “Onions & Boots” a hip hop project released in 2020, and “Gear 69” a collab rnb project with Nigerian producer Beezyx released in 2022 and many other tracks he’s released over the years which are evidence of his very bright talent. He also has his latest single “Baller” which was released in December 2022 out now .
